Brief Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) Assessment
We offer Brief Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) Assessments to determine if a diagnosis of ADHD is appropriate. The assessment process is quite thorough and involves a clinical interview, which typically lasts 1-2 hours), along with the completion of measures (such as the Conners 4). We may also review report cards, if applicable, and gather information from parents, teachers, or other individuals familiar with the client. Subsequently, we will engage in a meeting to discussion of the results and provide you with a succinct summary that outlines your specific symptoms and the conclusions of the assessment. Should you be considering medication options, this report can be shared with your physician.
While our assessment and report are valuable tools, they may not fulfill the requirements for obtaining university accommodations. Many universities have specific forms that necessitate completion and reports outlining recommended accommodations in detail. Should you require such a form or report, we are happy to schedule a separate session (charged separately) to complete the necessary forms.
Kindly note that we do not provide psychoeducational assessments or neurological testing. However, should you require additional assessments for other conditions that may impact attention and executive functioning, we can provide you with a list of reputable practitioners who specialize in these services.
Assessments will be completed by either Dr. Prabhleen Sandhu or Gabrielle Ciquier under the supervision of Dr. Gabriela Ionita, a Registered Psychologist with expertise in this area and who brings a unique perspective as someone who has ADHD herself. Assessments can be completed online or in-person.
Fees
Brief ADHD Assessment - Adults: $525.00
Brief ADHD Assessment - Children/Teens: $850.00
