ADHD ASSESSMENTS
We are pleased to offer Brief Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) Assessments. Our assessment examines symptoms in depth and can provide you with a diagnosis accompanied by a succinct summary detailing your specific symptoms. Should you be considering medication options, this report can be shared with your physician.
Please note that while our assessment and report are valuable tools, they may not fulfill the requirements for obtaining university accommodations. Many universities have specific forms that necessitate completion and reports outlining recommended accommodations in detail. Should you require such a form or report, we are happy to schedule a separate session, which will be charged separately. During this session, we can address your specific needs in relation to the assessment results and provide you with required documents for your university.
Our assessment process involves a thorough clinical interview, which typically lasts 1-2 hours, along with the completion of various measures. We may also review report cards, if applicable, and gather information from parents, partners, teachers, or individuals familiar with the client. Subsequently, we will engage in a discussion of the results. These assessments can be conducted online or in-person..
Kindly note that we do not provide psychoeducational assessments or neurological testing. However, should you require additional assessments for other conditions that may impact attention and executive functioning, we can provide you with a list of practitioners who specialize in these services.
Your assessments will be conducted by either Dr. Prabhleen Sandhu or Gabrielle Ciquier under the close supervision of Dr. Gabriela Ionita, Registered Psychologist.
