Tracey Lee, M.Ed, Registered Clinical CounsellorTracey (she/her) is a registered clinical counsellor (RCC, RCC-ACS) with over 30 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and young adults, as well as providing supervision and guidance to emerging counselling professionals. She has a rich background as an educator, mentor, and school counsellor, having worked extensively in independent and public schools across British Columbia. Tracey brings a deep understanding of the challenges faced by young people and their families, with particular expertise in Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Panic Disorder, and Trauma.
Tracey’s passion for guiding young people has been at the heart of her career. As the first Head of Counselling at West Point Grey Academy, she designed and implemented comprehensive counselling, learning support, and student wellness programs for students from pre-K through Grade 12. She has continued this work at Mulgrave School, providing individual counselling for senior school students while advocating for mental health and wellbeing in academic settings. Tracey also supervises counselling interns from several universities, helping to train the next generation of school counsellors. Since 2021, Tracey has extended her practice to private clients, where she combines her extensive educational experience with evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including CBT, DBT, and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy. She is known for her empathy, active listening, and ability to build strong connections with clients, creating a safe and supportive environment for growth and healing. Tracey’s lifelong commitment to mentorship, coaching, and community engagement extends beyond her professional practice. She has coached national and international debate teams, led student wellness initiatives, and volunteered with organizations supporting youth, human rights, and health care. Her well-rounded experience, combined with her warm and approachable nature, allows her to meet clients where they are and empower them with the skills and strategies they need to thrive. |
