Thea Jardine, M.C, Registered Clinical Counsellor
Thea Jardine holds a Master’s degree in Counselling from the University of Lethbridge. Her foundational training is in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. However, she incorporates a variety of other approaches, including EMDR and DBT, which allows her to adapt her approach to fit the individual needs of each client. During the pandemic, Thea been providing EMDR virtually. Thea has worked as a counsellor for over 19 years, spending the bulk of her career working in the health authority and schools with youth and adults. Her practice has been primarily focused on anxiety, OCD, depression, self-harm, identity, and trauma. She has also worked closely with people experiencing significant life transitions and grief. As a therapist, Thea aims to help clients explore the factors that are creating barriers to wellness and develop solutions and strategies to find more effective ways of coping. |
