Guiding and Supporting Parents Through Childhood Anxiety, OCD, ADHD, and Behavioural Challenges With Evidence-Based Strategies
We provide personalized, one-on-one parent support and coaching to parents and caregivers of children facing anxiety, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), behavioural challenges, and related emotional difficulties. We recognize that children with mental health concerns often benefit from specific parenting strategies, and we work with you to apply research-supported tools at home to promote your child's coping, confidence, and long-term well-being.
We understand that when a child is struggling, it affects the entire family system. Our approach supports parents in responding effectively to anxiety-driven behaviours and neurdiversity-affirming parenting while encouraging independence and resilience in children and teens.
In addition to individual sessions, we offer both one-on-one and group-based Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE) treatment, an evidence-based program designed to reduce childhood anxiety and OCD by supporting parents in changing their responses, rather than requiring direct child participation in therapy. SPACE can be especially helpful for younger children who are not yet ready for individual therapy, children who resist participation in treatment, or families feeling stuck in accommodating anxiety-driven behaviours. Parents learn effective, compassionate strategies to reduce anxiety and foster long-term confidence. Research shows that SPACE is as effective as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) in reducing childhood anxiety symptoms.
